****BILINGUAL CRUISE SALES AGENT- HOME-BASED****
PURPOSE: To sell cruise vacations and options to potential customers through inbound/outbound telephone calls/e-mail leads. To close the sale of a cruise booking, up selling cruise packages to maximize revenue. To meet or exceed minimum monthly sales productivity goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers inbound cruise.com sales calls, inquiries, and customer service calls.
Answers callers questions concerning all aspects of cruise vacations and options, closing the sale of a cruise booking, ?up selling? cruise packages to maximize revenue.
Provides high levels of service to the customers with professionalism and cruise product knowledge.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by either the immediate supervisor or senior management.
REQUIRED:
Associates degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of two-years' cruise sales experience selling multiple cruise lines either in person or on the telephone.
Must have cruise product knowledge and personal cruise travel experience
Must be highly proficient in sales and closing techniques
Excellent English verbal communication skills
Computer literate, ability to learn Cruise.com business applications
Ability to work successfully as a home-based agent through application of self-discipline, motivation, and integrity
Able to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems
Must be able to work a 35-hour, five day workweek answering calls on any shift between 8 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Friday and on weekends between 8 a.m. and midnight. (Special Note: Shift schedules will vary, but most likely will include nights and weekends on a regular basis, every week.)
Overtime beyond 40 hours a week is not required nor permitted.
Ability to successfully complete a web-based/web conference company training program of up to five days
OTHER ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work from home (home-based position)
Employee must provide the following and is responsible for all associated costs:
Prior to employment, must have an IBM compatible computer loaded with either Windows XP Home or Professional operating system or Microsoft 2000 with all updates and with all components such as a headset/microphone
Must have a fax service and a router
Must have high-speed Internet access or the ability to get DSL or cable broadband service (cannot be AOL broadband)
Ability to learn and operate company provided telephone equipment (company paid).
DESIRED:
Fluency in Spanish verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills is desired for some positions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for long periods of time using a computer and a telephone.

PURPOSE: To answer incoming calls from customers for the purposes of resolving problems, providing information, and answering questions while providing high level service to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers customer calls resolving problems, providing information, and answering questions
Provides excellent customer service
Performs other duties as may be assigned by either the immediate supervisor or senior management.
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma
Minimum of one-year recent sales and/or service cruise travel industry experience
Excellent English verbal, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills
Professional manner
Able to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems
Strong desire to please the customer
Must be able to work a 40-hour, five day workweek answering calls on any shift between 8 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Friday and on weekends between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. (Special Note: Shift schedules will vary, but most likely will include nights and weekends on a regular basis, every week.)
